Something I've been working on since I went to the Mind/Body/Spirit Expo in August is abundance. I've heard the word and used the word for years. I admire people who live with an attitude of abundance vs. an attitude of scarcity. Most of us learn to act from a mindset of scarcity, which is actually a mindset of fear. An attitude of abundance is based on love, and there is a never-ending well of love in the universe. My work for myself these last few months has been (and continues to be) to change my mindset to abundance and by doing so, manifest abundance.
I define abundance as more than financial improvement; it's health, love, friendship, prosperity, and the ability to bless others with the same. So, in addition to starting the morning with gratitude for a new day and ending the evening with gratitude by counting my blessings (something I've been doing for decades), every day since mid-August, I've made this statement out loud at least three times in a row:
I am abundant, I deserve abundance, and I will share my abundance with gratitude.
And guess what! It's working! You define your world with your thoughts.
Make them work for you. It may sound hokey or new-age-woo-woo, but if you practice it, you'll learn it's true.
P.S. In case you missed the announcement, I'm also working on the sequel to my novel The Tritium Hypothesis. The Dark Season will have more ghosts and something powerful and dark that Rayna and her friends must face to help a woman feel comfortable in her own home. Much of it is based on my own experiences as a paranormal investigator, but of course x100 to make the story more interesting. I promised a sweet friend who has ALS that I'd finish it as fast as I can for her, so I'm using NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month, also known as November) to complete the first draft. In order to do that, the podcast is on a month-long hiatus. With a full-time job, sometimes I have to prioritize my creative endeavors, and keeping a promise to a friend will always take top priority. I'm grateful for my gifts, and I'm grateful she wants me to share them, so of course, I'll share them with her and anyone else who's interested.
It really is all about abundance!
